This half term year 1 and 2 are studying life in the past. This covers homes, toys, transport, communication and appliances. EYFS are learning all about homes and the past.  Holdenby House is a wonderful stately house in Northamptonshire.  The children will have an opportunity to work in a Victorian kitchen, pretend to be a servant and possibly meet Queen Victoria! The children will need to dress up in Victorian clothes for the day but this can be done with their existing school uniform if you don't want to buy anything special.
